French media reports that a car has intentionally crashed into a pizzeria in a village east of the French capital Paris, killing a girl of eight and injuring other people, a report says.
The BMW ran into the restaurant Monday evening in Sept-Sorts, part of the Seine-et-Marne area about an hour from the French capital, broadcaster BFMTV reported.
The driver of the car was driving a BMW and is believed to have intentionally crashed into the eateries entrance where and at least eight people had serious injuries.
This intentional car ramming comes only a week after another BMW rammed into a group of soldiers in a Paris suburb. That man, Hamou Bachir, 36, an Algerian illegal immigrant was shot five times before being taken to hospital.
France has been under a state of emergency ever since the Charlie Hebdo attacks.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
