Exactly fifty years after Israel captured the Western Wall from Jordan, President Donald Trump became the first sitting American President to visit the Jews most holiest site.
The President wore a black kippah as he read some Psalms with Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch and Western Wall Heritage Foundation director Mordechai Eliav.

Trump approached the wall and said a prayer after which he touched the wall and then left a note inside.

On the women’s side of the wall, First Lady, Melania Trump and Ivanka Trump prayed at the wall, left and left a note behind.
