MISSING: 22 Year-old Israeli Hiker Missing in Central Asia

22-year-old Hillah Livne has been missing since Saturday. The Israeli delegation in Kyrgyzstan is being assisted by locals. A helicopter has arrived near Livne’s last known whereabouts. Livne was hiking with friends in Central Asia and until last week post photos of her trip regularly to her Facebook page. The last one being a Rosh Hashana card to family and friends.

(JOL) Rescue forces in Kyrgyzstan are still searching for 22-year-old Hila Livne, an Israeli traveler who went missing there.

A helicopter arrived on Tuesday near the village of Arkit in the northern part of the country, where Livne was last seen on Saturday. The local Israeli consulate has been getting assistance from experts who specialize in rough terrain rescue.

An Israeli man who was traveling with Livne was injured and taken to hospital. He chose to join the searches upon his release. Many locals have also been assisting the Israeli delegation.
