Five Argentine men celebrating a 30 years high school reunion were also murdered as the terrorist took a truck rented at Home Depot into a bike path and mowed them over indiscriminately. The 5 Argentina named them as Hernán Mendoza, Diego Angelini, Alejandro Pagnucco, Ariel Erlij and Hernan Ferruchi.

Local media reported that Erlij, a 48-year-old well known Jewish figure and businessman in Argentina, paid for the trip of some of his schoolmates so that they would be able to make the trip to the US with him. Erlij owned a successful steel mill.
