Sarsour and other Muslim leaders were arrested for civil disobedience outside Paul Ryan’s office at the US Capitol. They were protesting the possible repeal of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) by the Trump administration.

This is not the first time Sarsour has been arrested for civil disobedience. Sarsour and other protest leaders are known for causing a stir in order to get arrested and grab some headlines.
Sarsour’s arrest comes after a woman accused her of covering for the man who allegedly sexually harassed her while she worked for the Arab American Association.
