Alon Ohel, 23, an innocent civilian and a talented 23-year-old pianist, was kidnapped by HAMxs terrorists from the Nova festival in Israel on October 7th. Alon was kidnapped while seeking refuge in a nearby shelter with his best friends.
Tragically, 16 people were murdered in this shelter including two of Alon’s friends. Alon was then brutally kidnapped into Gaza.
Alon is a young man with bright eyes and a big smile. His life revolves around music and friends. To support the release of Alon and over one hundred hostages, the Yellow Piano installation is placed in public spaces worldwide, creating opportunities for people to express their support by playing the piano and gathering around it to sing together. Each piano bears the sign “You Are Not Alone,” reminding us all that we are committed to help each other.
Since Alon and the hostages do not have the freedom to play, you are invited to play the piano for them, help raise awareness for their urgent release and send them a message of love and strength.
Music is an international language that can touch everyone, regardless of any differences. The Yellow Piano serves as a symbol, enabling connection, unity, and solidarity between people.
