Meet Ziv. He’s a 30-year-old Israeli engineer and soccer referee who bravely joined his IDF reserve unit on October 7, 2023.

Just two months later, on December 8, a Hezbollah missile critically injured him—costing him his left arm and damaging his spinal cord. Doctors said he wouldn’t walk again.

But Ziv had one goal: to walk down the aisle to marry his fiancée, Nitzan.

After a year of surgeries and four months of intensive spinal rehab in Florence, Italy—Ziv did it.

This month, despite all the odds and with immense effort, he walked down the aisle to marry the love of his life.
