Hezbollah officially announced that a senior commander in the elite Radwan force, Habib Ma’tuq, was killed in an IDF airstrike in Jmaijmeh, southern Lebanon.

More than a dozen others were wounded in the strike on the building.

Former Mayor of Tzfat, Shuki Ohana, issued a statement following the attack.

“In the last few hours, a report was received about the elimination of a senior terrorist, a sector commander in Hezbollah’s Radwan force, in an IDF attack in Majdal Selem.

As a result of the attack, a large number of Lebanese civilians were also incidentally injured. I remind everyone that such events serve as a “trigger” for expanding fire beyond the frontline.

I would like to emphasize, in such situations, although there is no change in the Home Front Command policy, residents should exercise extra caution.”
