American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) is teaching college students how to transform American campuses into hotbeds of anti-Israel activity.

At Chicago’s Tinley Park Convention Center on Friday, AMP held its 17th Annual Convention for Palestine, during which organizers held multiple classes on how students could make their campus “Palestinian,” Fox News reports.

In a session dubbed “Crisis Room,” participants engaged in strategy games focused on responding to Israeli officials visiting campus.

“A war criminal is coming to your campus. What are you going to do?” challenged session leader Jenin Alharithi, a recent University of Illinois Chicago graduate. One participant suggested recruiting protesters through Telegram while another proposed including the anti-Israel organization Jewish Voice for Peace in demonstrations.

In a media training session named “In Front of the Lens,” students were taught how to handle “tricky questions” from journalists, like whether they “support terrorism” such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

“I would say, ‘No, I do not support terrorism,’ and then I would go over the things that Israel does—I would say, ‘I do not support the eviction of innocent Palestinians, I do not support the shooting of Palestinian children,'” one participant responded. “You don’t want them to put you on the defensive. You have to put them on the defensive.”

Additional workshops included “Make Your Campus Palestinian,” which focused on combating what organizers termed “anti-Palestinianism,” and “Bringing Activism to Professionalism,” which instructed students on incorporating “Palestinian activism into their craft.”

Among the featured speakers at the antisemitic event was Nihad Awad, the Council on American-Islamic Relations executive director who couldn’t hold back how happy he was about the October 7 Hamas-led massacre against Israel.

“The people of Gaza only decided to break the siege — the walls of the concentration camp — on Oct. 7,” said Awad. “And yes, I was happy to see people breaking the siege and throwing down the shackles of their own land and walk free into their land that they were not free to walk in.”
