A campaign rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in New York was violently disrupted by anti-Israel protesters.

According to Daily News, approximately 300 Hamas sympathizers obstructed Wednesday’s rally headlined by New York Mayor Eric Adams in the absence of Harris and her running mate Tim Walz. Wearing keffiyehs and waving Palestinian flags, they chanted antisemitic slogans and held signs reading “Kamala=Genocide” and “Silent on Genocide.”

“It’s no secret I’m not a fan of Kamala. Her record on national security is horrendous (border crisis) and she has tied herself to the Islamic regime in Iran allied lobby NIAC,” pro-Israel activist Emily Schrader commented on the scene in a post on X.

“Here, anti-Israel protesters disrupt a Harris campaign event and set off smoke bombs because ‘Palestine.’ The irony is these people don’t care about Palestinians, they care about hating Israel, Jews, and yes, America whether Democrats or Republicans,” she added.

However, the chaos didn’t end there as protesters harassed some of the event’s participants at an afterparty at a nearby outdoor restaurant. Watch below footage of NYPD using smoke grenades to disperse the violent demonstrations.
