Chilling new details have come to light regarding the fate of hostage Yagev Buchshtav.

Yagev was abducted from Kibbutz Nirim on the morning of October 7, alongside his spouse Rimon, who was later freed in late November. Yagev’s parents, who resided near the couple, lost communication with them during the early hours while taking shelter in their own safe room. Later that day, his father entered the couple’s residence only to find it deserted with ammunition casings strewn across the floor.

The 34-year-old’s death in captivity was first announced after the IDF recovered his body along with five others from a terror tunnel in southern Gaza last month. However, a recent autopsy report shows that Yagev was murdered back in February as Israeli forces closed in on his location.

“The army was close to the tunnel and they were executed. That’s what comes from military pressure. Military pressure does not bring hostages back alive, it kills them,” Esther Buchshtav told lawmakers at the Knesset on Monday. “My son was kidnapped alive. He should have returned alive. He returned dead. Murdered.”

Still, Esther made it clear that she doesn’t blame the IDF for her son’s death, stating, “I don’t think the army is guilty here. It is the policy of the government. The army does what they tell them.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s inability to solve the hostage crisis has sparked massive protests across Israel. On Saturday, a purported 500,000 demonstrators took to Tel Aviv’s streets to demand action on the hostages’ release. It is believed that 97 of the 251 hostages abducted on October 7 remain in Gaza, including the bodies of at least 33 confirmed dead.

Meanwhile, the US is reportedly preparing to present a new proposal for a hostage-ceasefire deal in the coming days. However, unnamed sources in the Israeli security establishment have indicated to CNN that the odds of an agreement soon are slim, now that Oct. 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar has taken over full command of Hamas in Gaza.

Who of these familiy members – if asked – would say: “YES GIVE THEM 1000 TERRORIST free for MY RELATIVE” … And then face the GUARANTEE of MORE LIVES ENDING THOUGH THOSE??

They want the idf to completely withdraw from Gaza and only release a few hostages for the release of thousands of fresh fighters. The painful reality is that Netanyahu is going to level Gaza and beat it down so hard it will never rise again. But I think he has calculated the cost. I’m sorry for all the remaining living hostages, this war is far from over.💔
