Two critically injured passengers have been airlifted following an incident with a Monsey Trails bus on monday.
While the bus was in Hewitt, New Jersey, a large tree branch fell onto it, resulting in injuries to approximately twelve passengers, two of whom sustained serious injuries.
Emergency response teams and Hatzolah provided medical aid to the injured. Two helicopters were dispatched to the scene and transported the critically injured passengers to Hackensack Trauma Center.
The bus was fully occupied at the time of the accident, with around 56 passengers onboard. The passengers are believed to be students from a Brooklyn Yeshiva on a field trip.
