A California man faces federal charges for a hate-fueled rampage involving graphic threats of deadly violence toward a Jewish Rabbi.

Prosecutors say the unhinged Kevin Dunlow, 62, was harassing a Rabbi in Huntington Beach on Monday by saying, “I’m coming to the Temple to kill all the Jews and the children” and “Jews didn’t deserve to be on this earth.”

As if terrorizing the Jewish community was not abhorrent enough, federal authorities also accuse the suspect of directing threats toward law enforcement and public officials while turbocharged in his radical frenzy. The disturbed extremist is even alleged to have phoned in a false bomb threat to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

“We will not normalize violent threats in America, whether targeting law enforcement, elected officials, or average citizens,” US Attorney Michael F. Easley Jr. for the Eastern District of North Carolina said in a statement. “The complaint alleges the defendant made violent threats against people of faith, cops, and public servants. These cases will always receive our highest attention.”

Dunlow is charged with illegally using any form of communication to intentionally send a threat to harm or kidnap another person, and he is charged with illegally knowingly making false reports about bombs. If convicted, he faces five years in prison for each charge.
