Conservative commentator and founder of the 1776 Project PAC, Ryan Girdusky, was removed from a CNN show and subsequently banned after clashing with British-Muslim commentator Medhi Hasan. During a heated exchange, Girdusky made a controversial remark, “I hope your beeper doesn’t go off,” seemingly referencing Hezbollah after Hasan expressed support for Palestinian rights. The exchange escalated when Hasan likened a Trump rally to Nazi gatherings, prompting Girdusky to note that Hasan had faced past accusations of anti-Semitism.

Following his ban, Girdusky defended himself on Twitter/X, saying, “You can stay on CNN if you falsely call every Republican a Nazi and have taken money from Qatar-funded media. Apparently, you can’t go on CNN if you make a joke. I’m glad America gets to see what CNN stands for.”
