Former Israeli hostage Noa Argamani delivered a silent but powerful message on the red carpet of the Time100 Gala in New York Saturday night, wearing a stunning yellow maxi dress in support of the remaining captives still held by Hamas in Gaza.

Argamani became the unwitting face of a national tragedy on October 7, 2023, when Hamas terrorists stormed the Nova music festival near Gaza. In footage that would shake the world, she was seen being forcibly taken on a motorcycle, arms desperately reaching toward her boyfriend Avinatan Or. While Argamani was rescued during a daring IDF operation over the summer, Or still remains in Hamas captivity.

Recently named one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2025, the 27-year-old has since emerged as a leading voice in the campaign to free the remaining hostages in Gaza.

“Until my boyfriend and all the remaining hostages are home, I will not heal. I will keep fighting as much as I can to bring everyone home,” Argamani stated at the prestigious event, where she mingled with world leaders and celebrities including US President Donald Trump, Argentine President Javier Milei, and Hollywood stars Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively.

Argamani’s one-shoulder gown, created by Israeli designer Eli Tala in just three days before her departure for New York, featured a classic A-line silhouette in soft yellow satin that shimmered under the lights. Yellow has become the internationally recognized symbol for supporting the hostages in Gaza.

“It’s my honor to be part of such significant representation and to design for you, Noa, a symbolic dress that represents the return of our hostages for 567 days now,” Tala wrote on social media. “I’m proud of you and sure that an entire country feels like me about you being chosen as one of the 100 most influential people in the world and walking the red carpet of TIME magazine.”

In February, Argamani made history as the first former hostage to address the United Nations Security Council.

“The deal must go on in full… my partner and many other hostages are only supposed to be released in the second stage of the deal,” she said at the time. “I know what it feels like to be left behind, or watch other hostages being released to their families… I can’t even begin to explain the feeling of being the one who was left behind. But I can tell you this is exactly how the hostages are feeling today – abandoned by the world.”
