Former hostages attended a New York screening of a powerful film shedding light on the experiences of Israelis abducted on October 7. Among the attendees was Noa Argamani, who was freed in a daring rescue operation in Gaza. She joined the screening of the Emmy-nominated documentary Sister and Brother in Hamas Captivity, which follows the harrowing ordeal of siblings Maya and Itay Regev, seated beside her at the event.

Maya and Itay were held hostage by Hamas under unimaginable conditions. The screening took place at the Jewish National Fund USA headquarters in Manhattan.

Meanwhile in separate emotional interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, former Israeli hostage Aviva Siegel shares how she is still anxiously awaiting the return of her husband, Keith, who remains in captivity nearly a year after their abduction by Hamas.

“I was there in those same conditions, and I constantly feared for my life, thinking I was going to die,” Siegel said.
