Disney has just dropped its first electrifying trailer for “Snow White.” Promising a thrilling reimagining of the 1937 classic tale, the trailer boasts breathtaking landscapes, intricate costumes, and cutting-edge special effects that transport viewers into a magical realm.

From her heroic turns as Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot brings her commanding screen presence to the role of the Evil Queen. It showcases Gadot’s stunning evil transformation and mesmerizing delivery of the iconic line “Magic mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest one of all?”

“It was a lot of fun to get to do something that is completely different than anything I’ve ever done before. She’s delicious, she’s evil, she’s magical. We got to sing all these different songs. It was incredible.”  Gadot told Variety at Disney’s D23 fan event on Friday in Anaheim.

While paying homage to the animated original, Disney’s new version is expected to push boundaries by reportedly changing parts of the story line. Instead of waiting to be saved by the prince, Snow White will be portrayed as an aspiring leader committed to her father’s legacy.

Rising star Rachel Zegler, who captivated audiences in “West Side Story,” steps into the shoes of Snow White herself.

“Snow White’s not gonna be dreaming about true love. She’s dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and the leader that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true,” Zegler said. “It’s just a really incredible story for young people everywhere to see themselves in.”

“Snow White” is set to hit US theaters on March 21, 2025.
