The families of Eviatar David and Guy Gilboa-Dalal have approved the release of a Hamas propaganda video showing two Oct. 7 hostages witnessing the freedom of three other captives today.

Hamas brought David and Gilboa-Dalal to a stage in Nuseirat, where they watched Omer Shem Tov, Eliya Cohen, and Omer Wenkert regain their freedom after 505 days in captivity.

In the footage, both hostages plead with Israeli officials to secure their release. Neither is included in the current phase of the ceasefire deal.

This marks the first public confirmation of life for David since his abduction on October 7, 2023, and the first update on Gilboa-Dalal beyond June 2024.
