Hamas launched a barrage of approximately 20 rockets at southern Israel on Monday morning.
“Following the sirens which sounded near the Gaza border in the past hour, approximately 20 launches were identified which crossed from the Khan Yunis area in Gaza towards the Gaza border region in Israel,” the IDF said in a statement.
Some of the rockets exploded in open areas, while others were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the attacks.
Meanwhile, the IDF has been engaged in close quarters combat with Hamas terrorists over the past few days in the Shejaiya area of northern Gaza.
During the operation, IDF troops raided a United Nations (UN) school that had been converted into a weapons depot. Inside, dozens of guns, grenades, and valuable intelligence were found. They also discovered a Hamas war room hidden within a medical clinic filled with weapons, communications devices, intelligence, and observation equipment.
Unfortunately, instead of seeing outrage from the UN, the world is seeing a disturbing trend of support for one of Iran’s favorite terror proxies.
Since October 7, the UN has issued multiple censures over Israel’s alleged ‘genocide’ in Gaza, completely disregarding how Hamas uses Arab children and the sick as shields. Human rights advocates argue that the hypocrisy is not only morally repugnant but also a betrayal of the values that the UN claims to sacredly uphold.
