Hamas has released a video showing the final moments of hostages Carmel Gat and Alexander Lobanov, who were murdered with 4 others this weekend.

Lobanov appears to be reading from a prepared statement in the video, claiming that he was transferred ten times to save his life from IDF bombings. Addressing Israeli leadership directly, he said said, “Netanyahu and the government of Israel, you failed and neglected us on October 7, and now you continue to fail in every attempt to release us alive.”

The 36-year-old also mentions leaving behind a pregnant wife, a two-year-old son, and sick parents, urging his family to stay strong. At the time of recording, his wife Michal had already given birth to their second child. Their baby is now five months old.

Gat, an occupational therapist abducted from her parents’ home in Kibbutz Be’eri, also appears in the video. In it, she addresses her family, saying, “My dear family, I hope I have a family to return to. I’m staying strong for you until this nightmare ends. I love you.”

Hamas’ bloody attack on October 7 left no member of Gat’s family untouched. They murdered her mother, almost killed her brother and niece, and held her sister-in-law hostage in Gaza for 54 days.
