A terror stabbing attack on Sunday morning in Holon left two people dead and two others injured. The terrorist, from the “West Bank”, was shot dead by a police officer.

The first attack occurred at the entrance to a park on Moshe Dayan Street, where Rina Daniv, 66, was declared dead at the scene. Her husband, Shimon Daniv, 68, was seriously injured and taken to Wolfson Medical Center.

A second attack took place at a bus stop adjacent to a gas station, approximately 500 meters from the first location. An unidentified man in his 70s was critically wounded and later died at Wolfson Medical Center. A 26-year-old man was moderately injured and also transported to the same hospital.

Magen David Adom ambulance service responded quickly to the incidents, providing medical assistance and transporting all victims to the hospital.

    This is horrifying and deeply upsetting news. My heart goes out to the victims and their families. It’s terrifying to think about such acts of violence happening in what should be safe, everyday places. I hope the community can find strength and support through this tragedy.
