A Houthi vessel carrying materials for missile production has mysteriously disappeared in the Red Sea.

According to Al-Ain News Agency, Iranian experts and senior Houthi terrorist leaders held an emergency meeting in Sanaa on Tuesday to find the missing ship. It was last seen on its regular smuggling route from the Horn of Africa to Yemen three days ago.

Lacking a proper naval force, the Houthis deployed small fishing boats and drones in a desperate rescue attempt. However, their small boats are ill-equipped for such operations, and no distress calls have yet been detected from the lost vessel. Speculation is rampant that the ship may have been targeted by the US Prosperity Guardian mission, which aims to protect Red Sea shipping lanes from terror attacks.

For years, Iran has been supplying the Houthis with long-range missiles and drones, often disguising the shipments as commercial vessels. Following Hamas’ unprovoked massacre acquaint Israel on October 7 the Houthis claimed solidarity with its fellow Iran-backed terrist group by initiating a maritime blockade of the Red Sea corridor.

On Monday, the Houthis launched multiple attacks against an Israeli-owned tanker vessel in the Red Sea carrying vegetable oil from Russia to China. One uncrewed surface vessel (USV) and two small boats were used in the attack. Thankfully, no major damage or injuries have been reported.

A recent USCENTCOM report states the Houthis have so far targeted 56 maritime ships with links to Israel and the US in the Red Sea. Furthermore, the terror group has conducted over 100 attacks against land-based targets in Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
