An Israeli soldier was killed on Saturday during clashes with Hamas in the southern Gaza Strip.

25-year-old Sgt. First Class (res.) Gross Malkia served in the 9212th Battalion of the 205th “Iron Fist” Reserve Armored Brigade from Susya.

This latest casualty brings the number of troops killed in the ground offensive against Hamas and operations on the Gaza border to 315.
