The terrorist who carried out last week’s shooting attack at a school bus in Judea and Samaria has been arrested, reports Kan News.

The terrorist identified as Abu Rida al-Saadi, a member of the Palestinian Authority security forces, turned himself in on Sunday while the Israel Defense Forces were sweeping through his village of Al-Auja in search of him.

al-Saadi was reportedly wearing clothes similar to those of IDF soldiers and armed with a rifle on Thursday as he waited in an ambush on the side of Route 90 near his hometown village. He shot multiple times at a school bus and other vehicles driving by before fleeing the scene.

Magen David Adom (MDA) reported three injuries in the terror attack.

“We were dispatched to the entrance to Kibbutz Na’aran. We saw a vehicle with two males who stated that they were injured when passing Auja and continued driving until they reached Kibbutz Na’aran,” said MDA EMT Lital Karavani.

“One casualty, a 30-year-old male, was fully conscious with lower limb injuries, and the second, a 21-year-old male, had a gunshot wound to the leg. We provided life-saving medical treatment and evacuated them to the hospital. The 30-year-old was in moderate to serious condition, and the other casualty was in mild condition,” he said.
