Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have discovered an unusually large tunnel along the Gaza-Egypt border, capable of allowing vehicles to pass through. The tunnel, approximately three meters tall, was found along the Philadelphi Route last week.

Part of Hamas’ smuggling network, the tunnel is under investigation by IDF combat engineers. It will be demolished following the investigation. This marks one of dozens of tunnels uncovered in the area, with at least 25 extending into Egypt.
