Jerusalem’s Himmelfarb School has announced the tragic loss of Rabbi Captain Avi Goldberg, who fell yesterday in Lebanon. In a heartfelt video on i24 just before crossing into Lebanon, Rabbi Goldberg, with tears in his eyes, sent a warm message to his wife, Rachel, and his family. Unbeknownst to them, these would be his final recorded words.

The beloved rabbi from Jerusalem leaves behind a wife and eight orphans, with his last message of love and devotion echoing profoundly in the hearts of those who knew him.
