Israel releases dramatic footage from the moment Almog Meir Jan, Shlomi Ziv and Andrey Kozlov were rescued from their captors on Saturday.

In the footage Yamam and Shin Bet operational unit fighters can be seen as they rescue the hostages under heavy fire and eliminate terrorists in the Gaza Strip.

As mentioned, Yamam fighters – the National Counter-Terrorism Unit – and the Shin Bet operational unit fighters operated together with IDF soldiers in Nuseirat in the Gaza Strip.

Yamam and Shin Bet fighters operated simultaneously at two locations to rescue the four hostages, engaging in fierce combat with terrorists.

Amid the fighting at the home of Abdallah Aljamal, Yamam officer Ch. Insp. Arnon Zmora was killed.

Israel also released new footage from the moment Jan, Ziv and Kozlov were extracted from Gaza and put into a helicopter en route to Israel.

Pilot: “The first one got in, now the second, the third one is with us. Only 3 are getting in.”

Noa Argamani was extracted by a second team into a second helicopter.
