Shocking new details have emerged regarding the two terrorists who killed seven people in Jaffa yesterday.
According to Artuz Sheva, the Hebron terrorists managed to pass through a checkpoint in the Jerusalem area carrying weapons, including a gun and a knife. The pair then calmly entered a local mosque, where they prayed briefly before proceeding to board the light rail, exploiting what authorities now admit was a “serious security failure” in the transit system’s screening procedures. Once on board, they unleashed a brutal assault, both shooting and stabbing passengers indiscriminately.

In the immediate aftermath, security forces questioned worshippers at the mosque where the terrorists had prayed. However, the investigation has raised troubling questions about the initial response to the incident. Local community security patrols admitted to investigators that they initially mistook the sounds of gunfire for criminal activity, a common occurrence in the area. It was only when they heard shouts of “Allahu Akbar” that they realized the true nature of the attack.
The terrorists were eventually neutralized through the combined efforts of two security patrol members and a civilian bystander who was shopping for groceries at the time.
As the investigation continues, authorities are probing whether the attackers had any prior nationalist motivations. The Shin Bet and police are working to piece together the events leading up to this tragedy, including how the terrorists acquired their weapons and evaded detection for so long.
