An in-depth investigation has exposed a troubling pattern in CNN’s coverage of Gaza’s humanitarian situation in Gaza.
According to the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA), CNN has consistently misrepresented findings from the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) agency, painting a distorted picture of famine in the region.

In another glaring example of biased reporting, CNN prominently featured a May 31 report by FEWS NET claiming famine was “possible, if not likely” in northern Gaza, with an alarming estimate of only 59-63% caloric availability. However, the network omitted crucial information from IPC’s more reputable study. IPC not only exposed serious flaws in FEWS NET’s methodology and data but also estimated Gaza’s actual caloric availability at a much higher rate of 75% to 109%.
Further investigation reveals that CNN has consistently amplified claims of imminent or ongoing famine. Back in March, reporters Helen Regan, Niamh Kennedy, and Louis Mian dramatically warned of “catastrophic levels of hunger” in Gaza. Despite these dire predictions never materializing, CNN continues to link back to these alarmist articles in their recent coverage.
What CNN journalists are selectively reporting and deliberately omitting on this subject is very telling, further exposing the anti-Israel agenda that is eroding the network’s integrity.
Disgusting . How do they sleep at night. What you sow so will you reap.
What a shameful conduct of a once credible source of news
So what us new with this media outlet who gave us Russian collusion and etc.
Since when has CNN had any credibility? Before 30 years? They were “the network for news” back in the first gulf war, when they broadcast “war pr0n” 24/7… but other than that, they’ve been the commie news network, with idiots like amanpour etc. working there
It’s been a long time since I’ve followed CNN news, must be close to 30 years. They have no credibility. They’re as bad as BBC. These news stations should be careful who they hire!
@CNN: What about reporting about the HAMAS hijacking all incoming food and make the price for their own people… THIS FOOD/AND GOODS ARE supposed to be delivered for 🆓 free ! But Hamas is forcing their poor brothers and sisters to pay for their mere life needs, they even shoot st them, defending the wealth 🤑 -grabbing HAMAS LEADERSHIP! The truth must be told and will be acknowledged SOME DAY, SOON, I believe!
