Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is calling for divine wrath against his followers that are too scared to attack Israel.
“Governments that yield to the demands of today’s dominant powers, regardless of the size or strength of the nations they represent, could defy these pressures if they draw on the strength of their people and accurately assess their adversaries’ true, unembellished capabilities,” Khamenei said in a televised speech on Wednesday. “Any non-tactical retreat, be it military, political, or economic, invites divine wrath.”
Pointing to the 1979 Islamic Revolution when Western influence was booted from the country as an example, Khamenei criticized what he described as a longstanding habit of Iran’s enemies as exaggerating their threats.
Iran has yet to exact its revenge over the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh last month. Some analysts believe that the delay is intentional as a twisted form of psychological warfare, while others suggest that Khamenei may be using the threat of retaliation as a means to extract concessions from the United States.
Either way, at least for now, Western powers led by the US are cautioning Iran not to make the mistake of initiating a wider regional war.
All of that may be true, but remember that Israel was able to pierce the robust security where important guests stay and the Ayatollah lives. Important guests were killed. Message sent: We can get you in your own home. Message received!
He asked for “ Divine Wrath”.!!! And he”ll get Divine wrath on himself and his nation. It’s the Bilam and Balal story all over again.
