Amid escalating tensions with the United States, Iran has unveiled what state media calls one of its “largest missile cities” housing thousands of precision-guided weapons.

The 85-second propaganda video, set to dramatic music, features two of Iran’s top military leaders touring a sprawling subterranean complex filled with missiles. According to IRNA, the facility houses an arsenal of the regime’s most advanced missiles, including Emad, Sejil, Qadr H, Kheibar Shekan, and Haj Qassem systems, along with Paveh Land Attack Cruise Missiles.

During Tuesday’s unveiling, Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri said that “Iran’s iron fist is far stronger than before,” claiming the country has developed military capabilities “ten times stronger” than those deployed during last year’s failed missile strikes against Israel.

Iran showing its teeth is nothing new as tensions between Tehran and the US have reached a near breaking point following President Donald Trump’s renewal of his “maximum pressure” strategy. Earlier this month, Trump reportedly issued a two-month deadline for Iran to reach a new nuclear deal or face military consequences.

Meanwhile the Pentagon has deployed two aircraft carrier strike groups to the Middle East in response to Houthi attacks against Israel and US vessels in the Red Sea. Satellite imagery obtained by Defense Mirror also reveals a significant buildup of US military assets at Diego Garcia, including aerial refueling tankers and cargo planes.

Positioned over 3,700 km from Iran, Diego Garcia sits safely beyond the reach of Iranian ballistic missiles, which have an estimated maximum range of 2,000 kilometers. The base has served as a launchpad for major U.S. operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
