According to Israeli Journalist Ben Caspit preparations are being made for a multi-front war and evacuation of towns

“I don’t know if it will happen. I hope not. But from the discussion just held by Yossi Shelly, the Director-General of the Prime Minister’s Office (with those responsible for emergency situations in every government ministry), it appears that Israel is making accelerated preparations for the outbreak of a multi-front war (I thought it had already started). This includes a list of 8 additional settlements in the north that are supposed to be evacuated within an hour if it indeed happens.”

“Preparations include mass shelter sites (such as the Carmel Tunnels, parking lots, etc.), receiving the wounded and casualties, and more. It’s not certain if Haniyeh was worth it, though it’s too early to say.”

“I suggest not panicking. It hasn’t happened yet, and it’s not clear if it will. And even if it does: Israel is still much stronger than all its enemies combined. On October 7, we were caught off guard, but it doesn’t mean the IDF was defeated. The IDF simply hadn’t arrived. When it did, it won. The people of Israel are much stronger than it appears.”

“We will have to win for the simple reason Golda Meir said: We are the only side that has no choice.”
