Russian forces turned their firepower on Ukraine’s largest pediatric hospital this week, leaving behind a trail of destruction and injured children.

Chaos reigned in Ukraine’s skies on Monday as Putin’s war machine unleashed a furious barrage of 38 missiles. While air defenses managed to intercept 30 , a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile slipped through striking Kiev’s Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital.

More than 600 children were being treated at the hospital when the missile struck causing shattered windows to shatter sending shrapnel tearing through its interior. Critical medical facilities, including intensive care units, operating rooms, and an oncology department, all reportedly sustained significant damage.

As emergency services continue to search through the rubble on Thursday, one doctor and another adult were reported killed and at least seven children were injured.

In a gesture born from decades of withstanding rocket assaults by terrorist groups, Israel has reached out to Ukraine, proposing to treat child cancer patients evacuated from the scene.

“The Israeli embassy has long-standing ties with the Okhmatdyt Hospital. At the beginning of the war, the embassy delivered medical equipment to the hospital, their doctors visited Israel, our doctors came and advised online,” Israel’s Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky told Ynet.

“The embassy is exploring the possibility of assisting in the rehabilitation of the heavily damaged hospital. Israel has a reputation as a country with a big heart, and we are doing everything to maintain that reputation.”

Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared a devastating video on X, depicting the horrors of the hospital attack. The harrowing footage shows injured children with blood-stained clothes and hospital rooms in disarray, with shattered glass surrounding overturned cribs.
