Hezbollah has confirmed the death of senior commander Muhammad Nimah Nasser, also known as Abu Nimah, in an Israeli airstrike in Tyre today.

Nimah led Hezbollah’s Aziz regional division, responsible for the eastern district on the Israel-Lebanon border. This follows the IDF killing Taleb Abdullah, head of the Nasr regional unit, last month, and Wissam al-Tawil, deputy head of the Radwan unit, in January. Abu Ali Nasser, head of the Aziz unit, was also killed in the strike.

Hezbollah rarely refers to its slain terrorists as commanders, which underscores the significance of these losses and suggests the high-ranking positions these individuals held within the organization. Their deaths mark substantial blows to Hezbollah’s operational leadership in southern Lebanon.
