Rapper Kanye West has once again shown that he has no remorse for his antisemitic behavior.

During an interview with fellow antisemite Candace Owens on October 17, 2022, but only released this week, West tried to blame his infamous antisemitic tweets from earlier that month on alcohol. At the time, West shared a screenshot of a text exchange between himself and fellow rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, claiming that the 24-time Grammy winner was controlled by Jewish people. He also infamously wrote how he would go “DEFCON” against the Jews.

“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” West posted. “The funny thing is I actually can’t be Antisemitic because black people are actually Jews so You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”

West, now 47, confessed to being under the influence when he wrote the tweets that led to widespread condemnation and the termination of several high-profile business partnerships.

“I definitely was drinking when I put up the DEFCON tweet,” West revealed, specifying that he had consumed Hennessy. “It turns us gray. The demons come out.”

However, when asked why he didn’t reveal this information before, the “Heartbreak” rapper stood by his antisemitic statements, telling Owens he didn’t want to discredit what he still considered to be his truth.

Throughout the interview, West made numerous allegations against what he termed “Jewish influences in his life.” He claimed a “Jewish doctor” diagnosed him with bipolar disorder and that a “Jewish Hollywood trainer” leaked this information to the “Jewish media.” West also accused his “Jewish trainer” of hospitalizing him after seeing him read the Bible.

“Jewish media – I have their attention. They love me. They always love me,” he stated.

West made several other controversial statements, such as comparing Planned Parenthood to a Holocaust museum and referring to Black people as “darker Jews.”

The interview’s release comes as West faces multiple lawsuits for antisemitic and discriminatory behavior, including comparisons to Adolf Hitler and abusing coworkers.
