Just weeks before the world’s finest athletes are set to gather in Paris for the Olympic Games, an international intelligence coup has unraveled an Iranian backed terror plot.

In a daring joint operation, Israel’s elite Mossad and Shin Bet intelligence agencies joined forces with European counterterrorism units to dismantle Iran’s sprawling network of criminal operatives recruited to execute a nightmare massacre, according to a statement by the Mossad on Thursday.

The investigation was reportedly triggered by recent attacks targeting Israeli embassies in Sweden and Belgium, prompting an intensive international probe.

Authorities believe the mastermind behind these attacks is Rawa Majida, a notorious Kurdish mafia kingpin known as the “Kurdish Fox.” After evading international authorities last year, the ruthless leader of Sweden’s powerful FOXTROT crime syndicate was swiftly recruited by the Iranian regime to orchestrate attacks across Europe.

Majid’s criminal tentacles have been spreading throughout Europe since the early 2000s, with his illicit empire built on a foundation of drug trafficking, weapons dealing, and extortion. From his base of operations in Sweden, Majid’s reach extended into the criminal underworlds of multiple countries.

As the terrorist’s ambitions grew, so did the audacity of his crimes. In 2018, Majid relocated to Turkey to escape escalating threats following his cousin’s murder. By 2020, he had orchestrated the assassination of a rival syndicate and began directing his teenage foot soldiers to carry out bombings and shootings.

Despite being wanted by Interpol, Majid secured Turkish citizenship through the country’s golden visa program later that year, allowing him to continue pulling the strings of his criminal empire from his sanctuary.
