Iran’s leadership has gone into lockdown as the regime grapples with the fallout of the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
Sources close to the matter reveal to Reuters that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been moved to a secure, undisclosed location. Prior to going into hiding, Khamenei vowed that the “blood of the martyr shall not go unavenged” and the “fate of this region will be determined by the forces of resistance, with Hezbollah at the forefront.”
Nasrallah’s death represents a significant blow to Iran’s regional war against Israel. As the leader of Hezbollah for 32 years, he was a key figure in Iran’s network of terror proxies across the Middle East. Often referred to as the ‘Axis of Terror,’ this network extends from Hezbollah in Lebanon to Hamas in Gaza, Iran-backed militias in Iraq, and the Houthis in Yemen.
Hezbollah, under Nasrallah’s command, had been supporting Hamas efforts in trying to annihilate the Jewish State by launching near-daily rockets at northern and central Israel since October 7. According to the IDF, the terror leader was planning an imminent attack against Israel on Friday before he was killed along with IRGC deputy commander Abbas Nilforoushan in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut on Friday.
Meanwhile, Iranian authorities are ordering a comprehensive review of communication systems used by military and government officials following a series of mysterious explosions that destroyed thousands of Hezbollah pagers and walkie-talkies earlier this month. The regime is also purportedly highly concerned about infiltration by Israeli agents, and a thorough internal investigation of mid- and high-ranking members of the IRGC has already begun.
He should be Hanged in Public View!
