As antisemitism surges worldwide post-Oct. 7, a powerful message of unity and solidarity is resonating from an unlikely group: descendants of Nazis.

In a moving video entitled ‘Am Yisrael Chai’ (The People of Israel Live), members of the March of Life movement deliver a powerful message of peace and strength to Israel, affirming that the Jewish state does not stand alone in these challenging times.

Born from a family’s wartime past, March of Life emerged in 2007 under Pastor Jobst Bittner’s leadership. As the son of a Wehrmacht soldier, Bittner gathered others who shared his vision to face their inherited Holocaust legacy and forge it into a force for good. Many participants are direct descendants of Nazi soldiers, SS officers, and others who played roles in the Holocaust.

The movement has gained significant traction, organizing commemorative marches and educational events across more than 20 countries. From Germany to Israel to the United States, these programs serve a dual purpose: honoring Holocaust victims while educating communities about the ongoing importance of confronting antisemitism.
