On October 7th, brave and selfless first responders gave their lives to save others and prevent further escalation.

Many of them here heroes didn’t wear uniforms or have protective gear, yet they risked their lives to defend their community that day.

This video shows snippets of the battle in Ein Habsor, which lasted 30 minutes as 20 elite Hamas Nuchba terrorists attempted to infiltrate, but 5 members of the first responder squad (kitat konenut), armed only with rifles managed to fend them off.

Despite RPG fire and grenades from the terrorists, 4 were terrorists were captured, with only 2 members of the heroic Israeli squad injured.

36 hours later, significant IDF forces arrived, and about 80% of the residents were evacuated.
