While the mainstream media continuously accuses the Jewish state of genocide in Gaza, the truth once again paints a very different picture.
On Sunday, a massive polio vaccination campaign kicked off in Gaza to protect over 640,000 Palestinian children under the age of 10. It comes in the wake of the first polio case detected in Gaza in 25 years, threatening a potential outbreak in the Hamas-controlled territory.
However, here’s what the mainstream media won’t tell you: Israel is playing a pivotal role in making this life-saving campaign possible. Both the IDF and COGAT (Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories) forces are working hand-in-hand with the World Health Organization and UNICEF to ensure the smooth delivery and administration of polio vaccines.
Further shattering the false narrative of Israeli oppression, the Jewish state has agreed to humanitarian pauses in military operations to facilitate the vaccination drive.
“Israel sees the prevention of a polio outbreak in the Gaza Strip as an important mission in the humanitarian effort,” COGAT said in a statement. “We will work to ensure that the population can safely reach the medical centers where the vaccinations will be administered.”
This isn’t just talk either.
In the past month alone, Israel has already facilitated the entry of over one million vaccine doses. Since the outbreak of hostilities, enough vaccines have been brought in to cover 2.8 million people, which is more than the entire population of Gaza.
Sunday’s vaccination campaign is just the latest in a long list of Israeli humanitarian efforts, including the establishment of 14 field hospitals in Gaza and the import of nearly 26,000 tons of medical supplies.
So, the next time you hear the tired accusations of Israeli “genocide,” remember this: While Hamas continues to use Arab civilians as human shields and divert aid for terrorist purposes, Israel is quite literally saving the lives of Gazan children.
The media, except in a handful of cases, are the ĺeft, woke, undeclared enemy of the Jewish state/people.
