Vice President Kamala Harris has maintained a deafening silence on Hezbollah’s recent murderous assault on Israel which claimed the lives of 12 innocent children.
While Israeli families grapple with this tragedy, Harris has found time to comment on a variety of less pressing matters. Her recent public statements have touched on the U.S. Olympic basketball team, the reality show “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” the Venezuelan election, and her campaign’s fundraising efforts.

It’s a far cry from the statements Harris made after meeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a day after she skipped his historic address to Congress.
“The images of dead children and desperate hungry people fleeing for safety, sometimes displaced for the second, third or fourth time. We cannot look away in the face of these tragedies,” Harris said. “We cannot allow ourselves to become numb to the suffering and I will not be silent.”
Critics have questioned Harris authenticity and leadership abilities for failing to properly address Hezbollah’s massacre.
“It’s been almost 2 days and we still have not heard directly from VP Kamala Harris regarding the horrific Hezbollah attack in northern Israel that killed innocent children playing soccer,” the Republican Jewish Coalition said in a statement on Monday. “Running and hiding from your anti-Israel Democrat base isn’t leadership, it’s pathetic.”
As Israel buries its children, America’s second-in-command seems more concerned with burying her head in the sand.
