A violent anti-Israel mob overran the Israeli Consulate in San Francisco this week, barricading themselves inside the lobby for several hours before police intervention.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Hamas sympathizers stormed the consulate on Monday and plastered antisemitic signs on the entrance condemning Israel’s defensive operations against Hamas. Ultimately, 69 rioters were taken into custody for trespassing after they refused to leave the diplomatic premises despite multiple warnings from police.

In a statement, Israeli Consul General Marco Sermoneta condemned the Jew-hating mob for compromising his consulate’s safety and security.

“We are appalled, but not surprised, at the attempt by a handful of pro-Hamas rioters to violently compromise our ability to operate as a diplomatic mission. They will not succeed,” Sermoneta said.

“The people who entered the lobby of the building where the Consulate is situated are the same people who have celebrated the rape, maiming, burning alive, and murder of hundreds of Israelis barely a day after October 7th.”

While disagreement and peaceful protest on political issues are a democratic right, the aggressive tactics employed by these rioters to essentially shut down a diplomatic mission clearly crosses a line into criminality.

Universities in particular have a duty to foster an environment where open debate can occur without fear of harassment, property destruction or physical violence. As long as radical groups like Students for Justice in Palestine are allowed to cultivate antisemitism in America’s youth, the future of the world’s leading democracy may be in peril.

    The sad truth is that they are coming for all of us – first they will attack Jewish people under the guise of “anti-Zionism” and then they will come for Christian people and all of western civilization- just look at Europe. It has been turned into a caliphate- the time to fight back is now

    One of my favorite phrases of the past few years is “You can’t fix stupid”. Such people are utterly incapable of critical analysis. Many are products of the educational systems which taught WHAT to think, but not HOW. And many would be shocked to the core to see the treatment they would get if they went to a Muslim country to (even) visit, especially if they’re part of the LBGTQ+ belief system.

    Israel strikes Iranian targets in Syria in order to prevent the Islamic Republic from entrenching itself near Israel’s northern border or transferring weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

    Israel, who Putin describes as a Russian – speaking nation and home to more Russian speakers than any country outside of Europe, notifies Moscow before the strikes in order to miss harming the Russian Army. Russian armed forces are the dominant military force in Syria.

    This deconfliction mechanism has been one of the reasons Israeli leaders are cited for

    not joining the Free World in sanctions against Russia,

    harboring oligarchs,

    for never having issued a warrant for Putin’s arrest.

    A more vocal and active stance in supporting Ukraine in its war with Russia is clearly expected seeing the superiority of Jews a trendy topic in the land of submissive Gentiles, where PM Netanyahu has been invited to address a Joint Meeting of Congress, the first time a Prime Minister under such suspicion has been allowed to speak.
