While Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly insists that Israel is on the brink of victory against Hamas, a shocking new report thoroughly undermines his assessment.

According to CNN, despite 10 months of valiant Israeli military operations, a staggering 21 out of 24 Hamas battalions remain operational to some degree. Alarmingly, 8 battalions are still fully combat-effective, posing a grave threat to Israeli soldiers on the ground in Gaza.

Furthermore, Hamas has demonstrated a chilling capacity to adapt and rebuild. Even in areas where Israel has conducted major offensives, 7 out of 16 Hamas battalions in northern and central Gaza have managed to rebuild at least some of their capabilities.

Hamas operatives disguised as civilians mingle in marketplaces, while converting destroyed structures into terrorist strongholds disguised as community centers. Their weapons remain close at hand with caches stored under rubble.

“Wherever Hamas raises its head, we go in. Can this ping-pong go on forever? No. Our society is not built for this and there is no international support,” a former senior IDF officer tells CNN. “It’s like a marathon runner who doesn’t know where the stadium is. You run and you don’t know if you’re going in the right direction.”

Analysts believe the IDF has avoided taking extensive action to wipe out Hamas because the terrorists are using many of the remaining Oct. 7 hostages as human shields.
