Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar devised a plan to smuggle himself and other top Hamas officials, and Israeli hostages to Iran, according to intelligence sources cited by the Jewish Chronicle on Thursday. The scheme reportedly involved using the Philadelphi corridor to cross into Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, then making their way to Iran.
This revelation emerged during the interrogation of a captured senior Hamas official, along with documents seized on August 29. On that same day, the bodies of six murdered hostages were also discovered.
