Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) may be appointed Speaker of the House if he and Vice President Kamala Harris secure the 2024 election. “We’re gonna win this election and we’re gonna make you put a gavel in your hand in the House,” Walz said to AOC during a campaign event.
This unexpected development has raised eyebrows, as the Harris campaign has made efforts to present themselves as moderate candidates. AOC, a self-proclaimed democratic-socialist, has previously expressed frustration over her limited role in Harris’s campaign, particularly as Harris has sought to distance herself from prominent progressives like AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Bernie Sanders, and others.

The governor’s prediction showed his confidence that Democrats may take over the now-Republican controlled House. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is the only woman to ever hold a speakership in the history of the United States. AOC would likely not be the Democrats’ first choice to fill the speakership as they have previously supported current House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeen Jeffries, D-N.Y., for the role.
Reacting to the suggestion was Minnesota state Sen. Andrew Mathews, R-District 27.
“This is the greatest boost to @JoeTeirab and GOP congressional candidates all over the country!” he wrote via X.
The Harris campaign did not respond when asked by The National News Desk to clarify whether Gov. Walz’s remark was intended as an endorsement of Rep. Ocasio-Cortez becoming House speaker.

I’m not sure I’m following that I would have to hear the context of the interview. The president doesn’t pick the speaker of the house they are elected. The house would have to choose to remove the very popular Jeffries as speaker and then nominate someone else and then hold a floor vote. And that’s if the Dems win the house majority. And if all the democrats weren’t in line with the change it would be a circus like the republicans had when they weren’t able to elect a speaker. This is a very unlikely scenario. When the current person in line is popular.

Hamas is an offshoot of them as Students for Justice in Palestine unsurprisingly endorse Hamas and the atrocities of October 7th . Maher Bitar also worked at UNWRA, which is obviously deep ties to Hamas and is heavily involved in indoctrination. It really is upsetting to see comments from those who compare Trump to Hitler. The news and media are so desperate to call Trumps rally a Nazi rally!
This is just upsetting since my father is a Holocaust survivor, and he lost his father and one brother in the camps. For anyone, let alone a fellow Jew, to refer to Trump as Hitler is just despicable.
Trump was a wonderful president already, and he has always been supportive of the Jewish people and Israel !

If we can say that these comments above are a mini- poll and the MSG rally was representative of the feelings of hundreds of New Yorkers outside trying to get in, then rest assured TRUMP will be our next president and then the so-called Democratic party can move to socialist and Marxist countries.
