Chaos erupted at the Carmiel shopping center in Northern Israel on Wednesday as a knife-wielding terrorist went on a rampage, targeting three young adults.

Initial reports suggest the vicious attack occurred just past noon on the mall’s second level, leaving 1 victim dead and another fighting for their life due to extensive blood loss from upper body stab wounds. A third victim is reported to be in moderate condition.

The terrorist was neutralized by two soldiers who were present at the scene. His mother has been detained for questioning to ascertain her involvement in the attack.
