The Arab terrorist who blew himself up this weekend in Tel Aviv has been identified.

According to WAFA, Jaafar Muna from Shechem was the only casualty on Sunday after his 22-pound bomb detonated on Lehi Road. Miraculously, not many people were around at the time other than a passerby on a scooter who was injured and promptly taken to a local hospital.

“My love, my brother, we are proud of you, thank God. We consider you one of the martyrs before God, and we praise Him before God. We only say what pleases God: To God we belong and to God we return,” Muna’s sister wrote on X.

“We will meet in paradise. You preceded us to Father, may Allah have mercy on him. May God have mercy on you and accept you, praise be to God. Martyr, blessed be God.”

Investigators believe Muna accidentally detonated himself while attempting to arm the bomb near a potential target such as a synagogue. After claiming responsibility on their respective Telegram channels, both Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad pledged to continue suicide bombings until their goal of annihilating Israel is complete.

In response, the police are calling on the public to stay cautious and report anything suspicious immediately.

“Anyone who looks strange, report to the police. Anyone wearing more than a short-sleeved shirt in this hot summer is a sign that they are hiding something. Anyone carrying a heavy bag on their back, not behaving naturally, and looking around suspiciously should be viewed with suspicion,” Police Superintendent Peretz Amar said.

“I have no doubt there will be false reports, but I would rather respond to nothing than arrive at an incident the public did not report. In the end, this is the story of a great miracle.”
