During an anti-goverement protest in Tel Aviv on Saturday that was conducted in accordance with predetermined conditions, legitimate demonstrators gathered in the designated area. As the protest concluded, most participants left the area. However, a small group of disorderly individuals began blocking the road on King George Street, setting fires and endangering road users.

This small group of demonstrators disrupted public order and acted violently towards the police officers on site. Despite police orders to disperse, the disorderly individuals continued to block the road. At this point, the police were forced to use reasonable force and crowd dispersal methods, leading to the arrest of three disorderly individuals.

The Israel Police view the right to protest as a cornerstone of a democratic state and allow demonstrations as long as they are conducted within the law.
