President-Elect Donald Trump’s newly appointed advisor on Middle Eastern and Arab affairs is pushing for Israeli concessions that many thought were off the table.

In an interview with French magazine Le Point, Lebanese-American billionaire Massad Boulos argued that Palestinian statehood must be part of negotiations if the United States hopes to establish relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

“I think the issue of a roadmap that would lead to a Palestinian state is an important part of the discussions between the United States and Saudi Arabia,” Boulos said in the wide-ranging interview. “It is certainly a very important point.”

Boulos claimed that many Arab countries would follow suit in recognizing Israel if Saudi Arabia took the first step

“It is important to remember that Saudi Arabia is not demanding the creation of a Palestinian state today, but it is asking for a vision and a road map for it, that’s all,” he said. “Today, the president’s priority is to resume discussions on the Abraham Accords, with, of course, Saudi Arabia first. Because we know very well, and the president has said it, that once we agree with Saudi Arabia on Israel, there will be at least 12 Arab countries that will be immediately ready to follow suit.”

Trump’s 2020 Abraham Accords actually offered expanded Arab autonomy in Judea and Samaria while maintaining Israeli settlements and overall security control. Despite Palestinian leaders’ swift rejection of the plan for falling short of full statehood, Boulos now argues the proposal effectively endorsed a Palestinian state.

“If you look at the plan that was proposed in 2020 by President Trump, it spoke very clearly about an eventual Palestinian state,” he said.

The 53-year-old advisor’s stance presents a stark contrast to Trump’s other appointees, such as newly minted Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, who is against turning over Israeli control of Judea and Samaria to the Arabs. Trump’s other appointments, such as Florida Rep. Mike Waltz as national security adviser, Elise Stefanik as United Nations ambassador, and Marco Rubio as secretary of state, similarly are against the two-state solution.

When pressed about calls from Netanyahu’s coalition to annex Judea and Samaria, Boulos deflected, stating that only after Trump’s January 20 inauguration will there be a “very clear and precise policy on this issue, and one that must be respected.”

On Iran, Boulos’s comments again suggested a more moderate approach than some might expect, noting Trump’s openness to “negotiating a new nuclear deal” rather than pursuing regime change.”

Never gonna happen! The Arab world are still light years away from accepting Jews and Israelis. Quite frankly it’s a pipe dream and this Boulos is not very bright!

There you go ! 👏 An Arab, of course which sides for the so-called Palestiniens… What a shame! The Arabs need to be send back to their ancestral country, like Egypt, Syria, lebanon, Irak, turkey, Marocco, Tunisia, Algeria.! Nothing to do or to claim in the Holy Land. It belongs to the Jews by the will of GOD the creator of all things.

This clown is a muslim NOT a Christian. Donald J. Trump, in Biblical Judaism we are taught that one doesn’t mix a dairy substance with a meat substance for the end product is prohibited to consume by those that observe Hebrew Dietary Laws. Tiffany’s father in law is inappropriate for the position you bestowed upon him as he’s ignorant of Middle East history. It is still early on for you to replace him and You Must as he does not have Israel’s best interest in mind & thinks like a muslim. No thank you

Just because he married Tiffany doesn’t qualify him for squat. Jared would have been appropriate.

The KSA cannot buy peace with Israel, as with its petro$s. Peace is a 2 ways street. If the KSA must impose on Israel a NoGo, 2 state-solution then they mean nothing when they talk about Peace. Thus the KSA deserves to face IRAN alone and deal with the consequences of cozying up with a muti-headed🐍🐍s
