A new US intelligence report has sounded the alarm on Iran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program.

According to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s latest assessment, Iran has boldly declared itself unconstrained by the failed 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) limits. This has been accompanied by dangerous actions, including an expansion of its nuclear program and a reduction in International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) monitoring.

For years, the Islamic Republic has insisted that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful, despite enriching uranium to 60-percent purity, a step only necessary for weapons usage. Perhaps most alarming is that Iran now possesses the infrastructure and experience to rapidly produce weapons-grade uranium at multiple facilities.

Considering global sanctions have failed to stem the tide of nuclear armament, Iran is reportedly installing more advanced centrifuges to enrich uranium up to 90%, which would produce weapons-grade material for a nuclear bomb within a matter of weeks.

Beyond nuclear concerns, the intelligence community warns of Iran’s growing ballistic missile capabilities. Currently, Iran boasts the largest inventory of ballistic missiles in the region and continues to improve their accuracy, lethality, and reliability. If unchecked these missiles could hit as far as the United States.

As the world awaits the regime’s expected retaliation against Israel for the death of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh, the threat of Iran becoming nuclear has dramatically stoked fears of a nuclear holocaust.
